Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Manager IA Payments to join our Finance team in Manila. The successful candidate will have strong experience in global payment operations, with the ability to manage day-to-day IA payments, supervise payment activities, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payment processing in line with established turnaround times.

This role requires a solid understanding of end-to-end payment operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage and guide a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute daily IA and general payment transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Oversee the complete payment lifecycle for invoices, employee expense claims, and other financial transactions.
  • Supervise payment-related activities and allocate tasks within the team to ensure balanced workloads and timely completion.
  • Prepare detailed payment schedules and supporting documentation for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payment-related queries, coordinating with internal teams, banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all payments are processed accurately and within defined turnaround times (TATs) and compliance requirements.
  • Support preparation and review of IA payment-related reports and operational dashboards.
  • Supervise IA fee payment operations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and reduce operational risk within payment and finance functions.
  • Perform additional finance-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Competencies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in business management or finance operations roles.
  • Strong hands-on exposure to:
    • Day-to-day operations
    • Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Financial closing activities
Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Suite, including:
    • Advanced formulas
    • Pivot tables
    • Data analysis and reporting
    • Data presentation
Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in payment operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
