We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Manager IA Payments to join our Finance team in Manila. The successful candidate will have strong experience in global payment operations, with the ability to manage day-to-day IA payments, supervise payment activities, and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payment processing in line with established turnaround times.
This role requires a solid understanding of end-to-end payment operations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage and guide a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute daily IA and general payment transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance with internal controls, and adherence to accounting standards.
Oversee the complete payment lifecycle for invoices, employee expense claims, and other financial transactions.
Supervise payment-related activities and allocate tasks within the team to ensure balanced workloads and timely completion.
Prepare detailed payment schedules and supporting documentation for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
Act as the primary point of contact for payment-related queries, coordinating with internal teams, banks, auditors, and other external stakeholders.
Ensure all payments are processed accurately and within defined turnaround times (TATs) and compliance requirements.
Support preparation and review of IA payment-related reports and operational dashboards.
Supervise IA fee payment operations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and reduce operational risk within payment and finance functions.
Perform additional finance-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Competencies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in any discipline.
Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in business management or finance operations roles.
Strong hands-on exposure to:
Day-to-day operations
Accounts Payable (AP) / Accounts Receivable (AR)
Financial closing activities
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Google Suite, including:
Advanced formulas
Pivot tables
Data analysis and reporting
Data presentation
