Job Description
Geodata Systems Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented
GIS Specialist for Desktop Solutions who will: contribute in the implementation of desktop solutions in projects, and technical engagements; assess and automate common and/or repeatable GIS tasks, processes, and analysis workflows; configure ArcGIS applications and demonstrate/present GIS software capabilities; assist the TCD Division Manager/OIC in division planning, implementing projects/advantage programs/rapid developments, supporting Business Development and other TCD related tasks.
Responsibilities
- Create and configure GIS web applications, mobile applications and dashboards using ArcGIS configurable tools and apps.
- Conduct presentations/demos to demonstrate capabilities of ArcGIS software and apps.
- Automate common and/or repeatable GIS tasks, processes, and analysis workflows.
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Geography, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Geodetic Engineering and related courses
- At least 1 year of experience in ArcGIS Desktop
- At least 6 months of experience in using 1 or more of the following databases:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- PostgreSQL
- SAP HANA
Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Office 365
- Knowledgeable in ArcGIS Pro
- Python, ArcPy and/or ArcGIS API for Python
- Communication (Verbal) and Interaction Skills
- Presentation Skills
