Geodata Systems, premier provider of smart mapping and spatial analytics solutions in the Philippines is looking for a GIS Programmer 2 who will: develop/configure applications based on identified requirements, contribute in business requirements analysis and design applications/system based on identified requirements, and assist the TCD Division Manager/OIC in application development, supporting Business Development and other TCD related tasks.

Qualifications:

Graduate of BS Computer Science, IT, MIS, and related courses

At least 2 years of experience in developing applications in 2 or more of the following Programming and Markup Languages: JavaScript, HTML5, XML, NET, C#, C++, Java, Python

At least 2 years of experience in the following 2 or more of the following databases: MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL

Preferably with knowledge or experience in using ArcGIS

Knowledgeable in ArcGIS Platform and ArcGIS Architecture (preferably)

Preferably with knowledge in developing applications in 1 or more of the following APIS and ArcGIS Runtime SDKs:

ArcGIS REST API
ArcGIS API for JavaScript
ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Android
ArcGIS Runtime SDK for iOS
ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Qt
ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET
ArcGIS Runtime SDK for Java
REST API development experience.

Responsibilities:

Interviews stakeholders and gathers requirements. Understands and analyzes clients business requirements, business/use cases.
Interprets requirements to functional and non-functional requirements.
Investigates and evaluates clients existing systems and databases that are related to the project.
Creates and configures GIS web applications, mobile applications and dashboards using ArcGIS configurable tools and apps.
Develops and customizes applications.
Automates common and/or repeatable GIS tasks, processes, and analysis workflows.
