TYPE: FULL TIME; PROJECT BASED UP TO 6 MONTHS, INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

ABOUT THE CLIENT

We are a global geospatial data analytics company dedicated to improving the reliability and cost base of electricity infrastructure assets. We help utilities achieve compliance for vegetation and bushfire management programs as well as improve corporate governance and asset utilisation.*

We have our own cloud based software to process and analyse LiDAR and Imagery Data to accurately map and create inventories of electrical assets, prioritise vegetation threats, mitigation costs and model changes in infrastructure risk due to vegetation growth and other factors.*

The Data Quality Administrator is responsible for the review and confirmation of the accuracy of 3D models created from LiDAR point clouds and confirmation of utility infrastructure attributes (voltages/conductor types/pole numbers)*

About the role:

The suitable candidate will be required to have skills and experience in:

• Knowledge of Electric Transmission and Distribution Infrastructure
• Proven experience in reviewing, editing and manipulating geospatial datasets
• Ability to interpret 3D point cloud data and make recommendations
• Weekly reporting & demonstrated high level organisational skills
• Review, edit, and manipulate datasets and to ensure overall quality of the information
• Utilise software programs and to visualize and edit data in mapping platforms - i.e.  Google Earth                                                                                    
• Carry out QA and data reporting activity for specific projects                                                     
• Monitor project specific data performance and quality

Work from Home Requirements (Must have before the start date)

• Internet Connection: Min of 50 mbps internet connection speed AND a backup internet connection (before start date)
• Computer/Laptop: The contractor must have a working computer from home with Dual Monitors
• Noise Cancelling Headset (Plantronics)
• Dedicated Home Office - Contractors are required to have a dedicated home office free from noise and distractions. We need to ensure that their space looks professional with a white background before commencement.
• Must be comfortable in working with a Monitoring Software
• WebCam - Contractors must have a working video cam.
