Job Summary:
Responsible for improving efficiency and increasing departmental profits while managing the company's overall operations. They oversee several elements in a business, including hiring staff, operating budgets, and launching price promotions that could attract more customers.
Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for total company operations and oversees all functions ensuring that sales and profit targets are achieved.
- Sets long-term and short-term strategies and goals as aligned with the board of directors.
- Develop and implement budgets together with functional leaders.
- Craft policies, procedures and guidelines together with functional leaders to ensure effective and efficient operations and compliance with control measures and regulatory requirements.
- Develop the organization through recruitment, retention and training programs.
- Ensures the implementation of key projects within agreed timeline, cost and quality parameters.
- Promote the company's interest to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensures a healthy working environment that is aligned with company values and culture.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or other related fields required.
- Graduate degree is a plus.
Experience
- At least five years work experience in a similar senior executive role with demonstrated business results, leadership and career advancement.
Skills
- Proven track record in successfully running large enterprises towards growth and profitability.
- Sharp business acumen and strong leadership ability.
- In-depth understanding of operations and overall financial impact.
- Can foster collaboration and teamwork across the organization.
- Excellent communication skills.
