We are dedicated to strengthening agricultural productivity through innovation, strong leadership, and responsible business practices. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced General Manager who will drive strategic growth and operational excellence across multiple departments.

Role Description

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of EDL Farms, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all departments. This role requires a strategic leader with strong operational expertise who can manage complex agri-business operations including farm production, feed mill operations, supply chain, procurement, and logistics.

The General Manager will lead the development and execution of company strategies aligned with business goals while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with company goals and long-term growth.
  • Oversee farm operations, production management, supply chain, and feed mill operations.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement profitability improvement initiatives.
  • Strengthen logistics, procurement, and inventory management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, environmental regulations, and labor laws.
  • Lead operational process improvements, automation initiatives, and innovation programs.
  • Mentor department heads and implement effective performance management systems.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership that promotes collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree is preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in operations management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong strategic leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience managing multi-department operations.
  • Experience in Agri-business is an advantage.
