Job description:
Intelegencia is seeking ahighly skilled General Ledger (GL) Accountantto join our Operations team. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, and reconciliation processes. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data while supporting a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record accurate and timely journal entries.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice posting, payment processing, and collections monitoring.
- Perform detailed bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support financial statement preparation and reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support internal and client audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degreein Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 yearsof hands-on experience in GL accounting.
- Strong background in AR and AP processes.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft ExcelandMicrosoft Office Suite.
- Experience with accounting systems such asSAP, Oracle, or NetSuiteis an advantage.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
- CPA or CMA certification(or candidacy) is preferred.
