General Ledger Accountant (Fixed Term) - Hybrid

Shift Schedule: Midshift (1pm- 10pm)

Work Setup: SH1 Mckinley, Hybrid (3 days Onsite, 2 days WFH)

Hire Type: 6 months to 1 year contract (High chance of being absorb depending on performance)

Role Overview

• Responsible for audit schedules preparation to be shared to the statutory auditors
• Ensures the amount in the trial balance are reconciled with appropriate schedules
• Helping in the JV for the month-end close
• AP and Treasury related responsibility

Capabilities & Experience

Minimum qualifications:

- Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a CPA

- Proficient in MS Office applications

- With good working knowledge of SAP preferred

- Must have 1-2 years relevant experience in accounting

- Prior experience in handling statutory audit is preferred

- Good oral and written communication skills

- Resourceful, highly analytical and organized

- With very good attention to detail

- Highly collaborative, process oriented and results driven

Responsibilities:

• Ensures the closure of the audit is as per agreed timelines
• Preparation of the various audit schedules required for the closure of the statutory audit
• Performs sanity check of the schedules to be shared to the auditors. In case there are adjustments needed, this should be proposed to the immediate supervisor for discussion
• Preparation of journal vouchers for month-end close
• AP payments and treasury
• Prepares related ad-hoc reports, as required
