Your Role as General Accountant

We're looking for a General Accountant who thrives on data accuracy, process improvement, and providing meaningful financial insights. In this role, you'll support key senior stakeholders by delivering timely and accurate sales, revenue, and operational reporting. You'll also challenge the status quo by identifying ways to improve traditional processes and drive efficiency. This is a critical role in the finance team, contributing across various areas including freight analysis, CAPEX management, reconciliations, and systems reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual sales and revenue reports. Support board materials and Coles reporting requirements.
• Manage CAPEX spend across growth projects and oversee R&M reporting.
• Partner with teams to track freight metrics and spending, identifying areas for savings.
• Handle bank reconciliations, cash flow, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with preparing budgets for sales, freight, R&M, and CAPEX.
• Support Accounts Receivable with system queries, GL coding, and pricing management. Maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Contribute to ad hoc tasks and suggest process improvements.

Requirements

What We're Looking For:

• Certified Accountant (CA/CPA/CIMA)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar industry is a plus
• Strong background in general accounting principles and practices
• High attention to detail and sound analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP B1 is ideal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
