The primary function of this role is to manage and oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This includes responsibility for journal entries, account reconciliation, financial statement accuracy, and month-end closing activities in coordination with other finance sections.

The main responsibilities of a GENERAL ACCOUNTING SENIOR SPECIALIST include:
- Analyze various general ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Supervise monthly accounting processes and closure of accounts, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
- Ensure all financial operations comply with budgetary requirements and oversee financial programming.
- Perform monthly reconciliation of intercompany transactions and assist in the department's account reconciliation.
- Analyze monthly revenue and expense variances to identify trends and address discrepancies.
- Manage monthly bank transactions and ensure accurate recording procedures through effective bank reconciliation.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger for subsidiary accounts.
- Coordinate with other finance sections to monitor compliance with closing tasks.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
- Support the preparation of schedules for auditing and coordinate directly with auditors.
- Design and prepare audit schedules for external auditors and draft financial statements based on finalized trial balances.
To apply, you must be an expert on the following requirements:
- AR and AP experience
- 2-3 years relevant work experience
- Bachelor's degreee in Accounting, Finance or other related courses
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of analytical skills for complex problem solving.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.

It will also be favorable if you are knowledgeable in:
