General Accountant

The Role: Accountant

In this role, you will spend most of your time managing core accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, reconciliations, payroll, tax compliance, budgeting support, and audit preparation. You will work closely with internal departments, external auditors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate financial management and compliance with local regulations. This role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting efficiency, and provide valuable financial insights to support organizational growth.

What You'll Bring

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, taxation, statutory compliance, and local government reporting requirements
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, payroll, financial statements, and audit schedules
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
• A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage but not required
