Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial records and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in basic accounting, can independently maintain books, and is confident in preparing accurate Profit & Loss (P&L) reports for management review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set-up and Improve Accounting and Records Keeping Processes
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve bookkeeping issues in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Populate accurate Profit & Loss (P&L) reports on a monthly basis
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations monthly
  • Record daily transactions including income, expenses, and adjustments
  • Maintain and review the general ledger for accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare basic financial reports (P&L, balance summaries, cash flow reports)
  • Monitor and Manages Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records
  • Process Payroll bi-monthly including doctors commissions, employee incentive etc.
  • Assist in preparing data needed for tax filings, audits, or external accountants
  • Process and managing employee contributions online in a monthly basis (SSS, PHILHEALTH, PAGIBIG)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic accounting knowledge (debits, credits, chart of accounts, payables, receivables)
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounting Clerk
  • Strong ability in bank and account reconciliation
  • Experience managing general ledger and financial reports
  • Highly Organized, and High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, or similar) is a must
  • Computer literate and Highly Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets - is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting small businesses, agencies, or consulting firms
  • Familiarity with local tax and compliance requirements (a plus)
