Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain web services and RESTful APIsusing Pythonor Node.js.
Architect and implement API designusing JSON, REST, RPC, and XML, ensuring consistency, scalability, and security.
Build AI-enabled features leveraging function callingand Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)for robust, context-aware applications.
Integrate and operationalize solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)including GKE(Kubernetes), Vertex AI, and BigQuery.
Develop data pipelines and connectors for analytics workloads, optimizing BigQueryschemas and queries.
Collaborate with product, data, and ML teams to translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables.
Implement testing frameworks(unit, integration, contract tests) and ensure API reliability and performance.
Own CI/CD pipelines, observability (logging, monitoring, alerting), and deployment automation.

Required Skills & Experience:

36 yearsof experience in backend development with Pythonor Node.js.
Proven experience building RESTful APIsand working with JSON, REST, RPC, and XML.
Hands-on exposure to AI application patterns, including function callingand RAG(prompt design, embeddings, vector stores).
Practical experience with GCPservices: GKE(containerization & Kubernetes), Vertex AI(model deployment/inference), and BigQuery(data modeling and performance tuning).
Strong understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimizationfor production APIs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally with product, data, and ML teams.
