Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and create game-ready assets (characters, environments, props, effects)
- Develop UI elements such as icons, HUD, menus, and buttons
- Collaborate with game designers and developers for asset integration
- Ensure style consistency across visual assets
- Participate in concept development, mood boards, and visual explorations
- Optimize assets for mobile and/or PC performance
- Provide input on visual feedback, animation, and polish
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in 2D or 3D art for games (portfolio required)
- Proficient in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Spine, Blender, or Unity
- Strong understanding of color, composition, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to adapt to different art styles (casual, stylized, realistic, pixel, etc.)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (but not required):
- Experience in mobile game development (Android/iOS)
- Familiarity with Unity, Unreal, or Godot game engines
- Animation or VFX experience (2D rigging or particle systems)
- Basic knowledge of game UI/UX
- Familiarity with the Philippine game dev scene
- Have the eye for hyper casual game design
- Familiarity in rapid prototyping
