Role Overview
You will create
concept models, fabrication drawings, and revision updates using Autodesk Fusion. This includes turning architectural concepts into accurate shop drawings and collaborating with the client's design and production teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create conceptual 3D models and drawings based on architectural input
- Produce fabrication-ready 2D drawings, BOMs, and weld callouts
- Update models using provided site measurements
- Manage redlines, revisions, and version control
- Participate in design reviews with the U.S.-based team
- Maintain organized, confidential project files
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- 3+ years drafting/design experience (metal fabrication preferred)
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Fusion (parametric modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, fabrication drawings)
- Experience creating shop drawings for custom metalwork
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Able to work Pacific Time hours
