About The Team & Business Line
Fund Administration is Citco's core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry's most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry's most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Your Role
- Overall leadership and coaching of staff including Supervisors and their direct reports.
- Oversee recruitment, staff assessment and capacity planning
- Create an environment of co-operation and initiative through appropriate delegation, empowerment, training and motivation.
- Oversee the daily operations of the teams and provide support and guidance in accomplishing department goals, service levels and client deliverables
- Active client relationship management in cooperation with Local office counterparts
- Review performance reports and dashboards across teams to ensure targets are met
- Anticipate and resolve work concerns and exercise sound judgment to make appropriate adjustments as necessary
- Assess areas of risk on each team and within the department and implement processes to address areas of concern.
- A champion in developing a forum dedicated to sharing best practices and improving processing standards within the COE
- Develop, maintain and validate department operational procedures and guidelines
- Contribute to the roll out and success of the Global processing initiative, working closely with colleagues in multiple locations globally, and ensure ongoing monitoring of control environment
- Undertake ongoing and ad-hoc operational reviews, participate in global policy decisions, lead workshops to establish and modify operational workflows
- Identify, recommend and assist in implementing enhancements where procedures, processes, controls and client servicing may be improved
- Expect to meet expectations of the funds handled, adhering to deadlines and maintain relationships with the local office. In addition, you may be required to undergo training in any of our overseas offices.
- Participate in CAIS initiatives to maintain Citco's pre-eminent position in the marketplace.
- Expect to maintain a thorough understanding of the systems used to deploy the services and to remain apprised of regulations and laws that affect CAIS.
About You
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, and Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in Financial Services with high volume operational environment and/ or hedge fund industry
- Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 3+ years
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with high degree of attention to detail
- Strong business acumen.
- Good client/ business relationship management
- Strong interpersonal & teamwork skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Amenable to working in our Makati (OneAyala Corporate Center) or Muntinlupa (Northgate Cyber Zone)
- Amenable to working on a Hybrid set up (2-3 days onsite per week)
- Amenable to working on shifting schedules (AM or Mid-shift)
