About The Role (your Why)

The Functional Consultant is an exciting role where you will leverage your hands-on experience to support implementation of new modules and changes to our Oracle HRIS solution internally ensuring they meet our stakeholders strategic goals. Leveraging your deep functional expertise and hands-on experience, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and ensure successful delivery across the company ecosystem. This will often involve you collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, serving as a subject matter expert.

You will have experience in Oracle HCM Core and ideally have experience in the Compensation & Performance module too and will be comfortable working in VBS to configure Redwood screens. Experience in implementing either AI Agents in HCM Core or custom dashboards with Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) would be advantageous. Experience using Jira to manage work would be good but is not critical.

What You'll Do

  • Implement enhancements and changes to Oracle HCM as required
  • Implement new functionality as part of project delivery, including evaluation of stakeholder's business needs with input to strategic planning of business systems and directions.
  • Be involved with other key implementation related tasks, including testing, data migration, security and reporting
  • Recognising and promptly advising management of potential problems and for potential follow-on business opportunities.
  • Technical responsibilities, including problem identification, solution definition, documenting implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment.
  • Identifies additional opportunities that could be implemented to improved business outcomes in Oracle HCM
  • Collaborate with team members on changes to the system
  • Complete system administrative tasks when required
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry best practice and directions

What You'll Bring

  • Specialist level functional competence and knowledge of Oracle HCM.
  • Understanding business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.
  • Good understanding of current services and new computing directions and technologies.
  • Understanding of Release Management processes
  • At least 3 year's experience in information technology, IT systems, systems design, integration or consulting
  • Ability to analyse, isolate and interpret business needs and develop appropriate technical solutions
