We are now looking for a talented Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer to join our growing product and
technology team.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality features and
improvements across our core platform. You'll be responsible for designing, building, testing, and
maintaining functionality that supports our operational and learning solutions, impacting thousands of
learners and educators worldwide.
Working within a collaborative, agile development environment, you'll have the opportunity to work across
both backend and frontend contributing to APIs, business logic, data models, and user interfaces.
Experience with Vue.js is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain features primarily using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend technologies.
- Work on both backend services and frontend interfaces to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code aligned with industry best practices.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Participate actively in an agile environment.
- Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and QA Engineers to deliver high-quality features on time.
- Conduct per code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high engineering standards.
Problem Solving & Innovation
- Proactively identify technical issues and recommend solutions.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and advocate for improvements in tools, frameworks, and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in software engineering.
Key Requirements
Experience
- 34 years of experience as a full stack developer, with a strong focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Solid understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience or familiarity with Vue.js (or similar frameworks such as React) is a strong plus.
- Exposure to RESTful API design and integration.
