Role Summary
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions for Send Payments. You are passionate about delivering high-quality software products that revolutionise the payments and financial industry. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you contribute your technical expertise to solve complex problems and drive innovation.
This is a role where you can flex your TypeScript skills in our event-driven Node.js microservices platform, with a strong focus on backend development across our modern cloud environment. You'll also take on full-stack work with our React front-ends, while getting hands-on with RESTful APIs, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps tooling, and cutting-edge AI tools to help shape and support our platform.

- Expert in modern software development frameworks, tools, and libraries, enabling you to deliver efficient and robust solutions.
- Your knowledge of database systems and SQL empowers you to design and optimise data-driven applications.
- You've explored and embraced AI coding tools and workflows, and you're keen to keep building on that foundation and champion AI within the team.
- You use your experience gained to peer review, mentor and guide other team members.
- Advanced experience in version control systems and collaborative development environments, ensuring smooth collaboration with my fellow team members.
- You're comfortable working at the intersection of software and infrastructure, with experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code to help build scalable, reliable systems.
