AT A GLANCE
You will monitor timely order placement, production, and arrival of stocks in the warehouse/s. You will ensure that production schedules are met accordingly, mitigate risk in terms of unexpected delays and prioritize stocks production based on company direction.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
- In charge of the monitoring of purchase order placement, eyewear production and packaging production schedules for manufacturing of the whole eyewear category.
- Monitors production status of orders for international clients.
- Establishes sequence and standard lead time for each operation to meet the Ex-factory dates in accordance with the launch dates of the company's new products and re-orders.
- Develops mitigation plans and push suppliers and contract manufacturers for a compressed lead time shorter than the standard lead time as per business need or when issues arise.
- Develops and reviews production plan with Strategic Sourcing team for approval.
- Coordinates with the suppliers and contract manufacturers and each department within the organization to ensure that the target production schedule is being met.
- In charge of planning and scheduling the workflow for each department, making sure that SKUs will be inspected and packed based on their delivery dates.
- Analyzes current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan and schedule the production operations.
- Discusses with Strategic Sourcing team to determine the status and/or progress of each activity from development to production.
- Ensures the production schedule for each day is being followed and provide information on changes in the schedule for everybody's awareness.
- Reviews and establishes priorities for the production schedule every day.
- Ensure that revisions and adjustments are done when there are delays in schedule and disseminate the information to all concerned departments.
- Analyzes delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines.
- Monitors the execution of the production plan and raise potential issues with proposed resolutions in a timely fashion.
- Updates the production monitoring file every week or whenever there are updates from suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Prepares production reports for everyone to be aware of the progress of the new and existing developments and re-orders.
YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or any related field
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Sound Knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP) or related software
- Knowledgeable of MS Office & ERP systems
- Good communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills
