Summary
The
Logistics Payables Clerk is responsible for coding, auditing, and processing freight invoices for payment. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Excel. The position supports the logistics team by ensuring accuracy in freight billing, resolving unknown freight issues, and coordinating with both internal teams and external suppliers.
Experience Requirements
- Basic knowledge of computer applications (especially email and Excel)

Duties & Responsibilities
- Invoice Coding (70%): Apply appropriate general ledger (GL) codes to freight invoices for finance processing
- Audit Invoices: Check freight invoices against established rate files for accuracy
- Resolve Unknown Freight: Investigate and code unidentified freight charges for proper payment
- Supplier Chargebacks: Issue chargebacks for improper references or unauthorized shipping practices
- Policy Enforcement: Ensure compliance with freight policies among suppliers and internal BDA personnel
- Project Support: Assist with various logistics-related projects assigned by the Logistics Manager
- Liaison Role: Serve as the logistics point of contact within the BDA Philippines office
