Job Description

The position is in-charge for ensuring that all franchisees (prospective and current) will be able partners in GBI's objective of expanding its reach through franchising. Responsible for maintaining harmonious relationships between franchisees and Management. Also, responsible for the development and upgrading of franchise policies and operating guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts franchise studies on trends, practices and potential markets.
  • Provides investment packages for franchisees based on the approved franchise store concepts, site location and other considerations in coordination with internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Expansion group, etc.)
  • Develops and updates franchise marketing materials such as franchise brochures, flyers, website contents, advertising, materials, ad placements and feature articles in coordination with Marketing department.
  • Participates in franchise sales/ marketing activities such as franchise conventions and exhibits, road shows, business shows/conventions.
  • Liaisons with external associations and civic organizations for networking and sourcing purposes.
  • Screens franchise applicants through in-depth interviews and background checks that are coordinated with Treasury Department.
  • Presents to Management the profile of the franchise applicants for their final approval.
  • Handles franchise conflicts and concerns by coordinating with concerned departments being affected with complaints and issues.
  • Maintains constant communication with franchisees, through updates of company directions, operating guidelines, franchise meetings, as well as with other departments with linkages to franchise concerns.
  • Develops and updates franchise and operating guidelines and franchise agreements.
  • Oversees proper maintenance of 201 records of all franchisees and other franchise related files.
  • Monitors prompt coordination with various departments on the operating requirements in connection with franchise agreement terminations, store closures and take-overs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Management
  • 5+ years Franchise Relations and Development experience
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
