Food Service Supervisor
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Food Service Supervisor to act as the primary Business Development Manager (BDM) for a key account or portfolio of accounts. The FSS is responsible for driving significant business growth by providing strategic direction and comprehensive business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Business Development: Serve as the strategic partner for the account, utilizing your in-depth knowledge of their business (Mission/Vision, goals, structure, policies) to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partnership & Relationship Management: Build and strengthen strategic partnerships, conduct regular account visits, and lead quarterly business reviews (Tabletop meetings) to align on goals and showcase our full portfolio and plant capabilities.
- Business Solution & Execution: Prepare compelling project proposals, provide pricing recommendations, and ensure flawless execution of approved concepts and recommendations to achieve agreed-upon business goals.
- Account & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor market needs, study competitive landscapes (products, strategies, resources), and analyze customer purchasing habits and demographics to inform actionable strategies.
- Sales Performance & Forecasting: Meticulously track sales performance trending (down to the SKU/branch level), recommend necessary actions to address downtrends, and prepare accurate sales forecasts for promotions and peak seasons.
- Cross-functional Communication: Effectively communicate daily requirements, project specifications, and required actions to internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and implementation of value-added services.
- Financial & Administrative Oversight: Ensure the account adheres to credit terms, oversee regular reconciliation of accounting records, manage sales operational expenses, and maintain efficient record-keeping and reporting.
