The Flight Technical Engineer is responsible for planning and coordinating the section's activities by continuously monitoring airport data and development, its facilities, aerodrome control, aircraft movement procedures, airport specifics in achieving and maintaining the highest safety and standard of flight operations.
Who Are We Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree Holder of any engineering course, preferably Aeronautical Engineering
- Must already possess a valid engineering or PRC license
- Must be proficient in the following areas:
CAD Software or other design engineering tools
Microsoft Office Suite
Data Analysis and Programming
- Knowledgeable in airline flight operations, aircraft manuals and CAAP regulations
- Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills
Major Responsibility Areas
- Carry out inspections and obstacle surveys of airports and represent Flight operations on all airport induction projects.
- Evaluates aircraft operations into new and existing airports at the same time, providing recommendations to meet or to enhance the operational capability.
- Provides technical expertise and assistance to the relevant authorities and airport operators (eg. CAAP, DOTr, MIAA) for the rectification of the noted deficiencies during airport inspections and for the development/improvement of airports.
- Establish and maintain the records of airfield data, drawings of airport profile, updated data on ground aids for navigation, nose guidelines and parking layouts and procedures.
- Liaise with relevant authorities, service providers and aerodrome operators (both domestic and international) relating to aerodrome information and issues.
- Ensure revisions for route guide supplement manual and controlled documents are published on time and act as a delegate controlling authority for these manuals.
- Provides technical assessment in support of accident/incident investigation related to aerodrome issues.
