Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Fleet Coordination: Assist in day-to-day fleet operations, including scheduling maintenance and coordinating repairs.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and repair history; track fleet performance using management software.
  • Compliance: Ensure vehicles meet all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety inspections and emissions standards.
  • Vendor Liaison: Communicate with service providers and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective services; assist in negotiating service contracts.
  • Reporting: Generate and review reports on fleet performance, including fuel usage, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization; provide insights and recommendations.
  • Budget Support: Monitor and control fleet-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Safety and Training: Support safety protocols and assist in organizing driver training programs.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve fleet operation issues, including vehicle breakdowns and service delays.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in fleet management, logistics operations, or insurance claims is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
  • Amenable to a 6-day work schedule.
