Fleet Coordination: Assist in day-to-day fleet operations, including scheduling maintenance and coordinating repairs.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and repair history; track fleet performance using management software.
Compliance: Ensure vehicles meet all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety inspections and emissions standards.
Vendor Liaison: Communicate with service providers and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective services; assist in negotiating service contracts.
Reporting: Generate and review reports on fleet performance, including fuel usage, maintenance costs, and vehicle utilization; provide insights and recommendations.
Budget Support: Monitor and control fleet-related expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repairs.
Safety and Training: Support safety protocols and assist in organizing driver training programs.
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve fleet operation issues, including vehicle breakdowns and service delays.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Previous experience in fleet management, logistics operations, or insurance claims is an advantage.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
