SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Firewall Delivery Engineer to join our global delivery organization. In this role, you will support large, global enterprise customers by delivering complex firewall deployments, migrations, and security integrations across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate is highly technical, client-facing, and capable of leading firewall implementation workstreams from design through post-deployment stabilization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead deployment, migration, and optimization of enterprise firewall solutions across global environments.
- Configure, validate, and troubleshoot firewall platforms to ensure secure and reliable network operations.
- Design and implement security policies, rule-bases, segmentation strategies, and NAT configurations.
- Support cutover planning, risk mitigation, issue resolution, and post-deployment stabilization activities.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and customer technical teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment artifacts.
- Provide expert-level support during troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security optimization phases.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in firewall or network security delivery roles.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale or global enterprise firewall deployments.
- Strong understanding of VPN technologies, routing fundamentals, NAT, and high-availability (HA) architectures.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and consulting skills.
- Ability to manage complex technical initiatives in fast-paced, enterprise environments.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following platforms:
- Palo Alto Networks (PAN-OS, Panorama)
- Fortinet FortiGate (FortiOS, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
- Cisco ASA / FTD, Firepower Management Center
- Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with automation tools, firewall policy migration tools, or security optimization platforms.
- Relevant certifications such as PCNSE, NSE4/NSE5, CCNP Security are highly preferred.
