Fire Protection Design Engineer

Position: Intermediate to Senior Fire Protection Design Engineer

Division: Australia Building Services Division

About the Role:

A leading engineering firm in Australia, for an experienced Fire Protection Design Engineer. This role involves designing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality fire protection systems for a variety of building projects, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance, safety, and design excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver fire protection systems, including wet and dry systems, for building projects
• Prepare detailed design drawings and documentation using AutoCAD and Revit
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure compliance with standards and client requirements
• Conduct calculations and simulations for fire protection systems
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers as required

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection design
• Registered Mechanical Engineer (RME) is a plus
• Strong knowledge of wet and dry fire protection systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
