Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Analyst / General Accountant to support our finance team in financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly financial reports and analysis for assigned business units
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting activities
- Generate financial reports and statements for internal use
- Assist in presenting and communicating monthly variance analysis
- General Ledger & Accounting Operations
- Perform accounting activities to maintain an accurate and complete general ledger
- Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting system
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues
- Reconciliation & Accounts Management
- Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Reconcile inter-branch receivables and payables
- Review, adjust, and monitor accruals for assigned business units
- Administrative & Accounting Support
- Perform administrative and clerical accounting tasks such as:
- Data entry
- Invoice preparation
- Sending billing reminders
- Filing financial documents
- Reporting Tools & System Usage
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software for data analysis and reporting
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to gather and validate financial data
- Communication & Team Collaboration
- Maintain professional communication with internal teams and stakeholders
- Support cross-functional teams in financial reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- At least 13 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
