The Medical City Ortigas is searching for an experienced Financial Reporting and Tax Analyst to join the team and help lead the organization to the next level. This role is responsible for monitoring The Medical City enterprise monthly financial closing and collaborates with The Medical City enterprise for the consolidation of financial statements, assists in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) requirements and assists The Medical City enterprise on tax computation. Also handles and reviews the Akbay Ginhawa Financial Statement and Philippine Foundation (Divine Mercy).
This role directly reports to the Accounting department.
What's The Role All About
Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Implementing the accounting excellence project across The Medical City enterprise for alignment of accounting practices, policies, procedures, and reports
- Collaborating with The Medical City enterprise for timely consolidation and submission of Financial Statement
- Overseeing the review and analysis of The Medical City enterprise monthly financial closing to help each network hospital in correcting or guiding them for management report, for statutory compliance and for the alignment of the treatment and interpretation of the business
- Ensures correct tax computations across The Medical City enterprise to prevent over and underpayment to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
-Produces an accurate financial statement
Ideally, a candidate must be a graduate of any bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or any related course and a duly licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferably with at least 2 years of experience in external auditing
