Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Finance preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, performance analysis, or other corporate finance functions.
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required; experience with Oracle or similar ERP platforms is an advantage.
- Proven ability to prepare, analyze, interpret, and present financial reports that support strategic business decisions.
- Strong business partnering experience, with the ability to collaborate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, finance operations, and business performance reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial acumen, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Experience in a consumer-focused, product-based, retail, or similar commercial business environment is preferred.
- MBA, CPA, or other relevant finance certification is an advantage.
- Exposure to automation, data querying, scripting, or reporting technologies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and consolidation activities across quarterly and annual cycles.
- Prepare and enhance monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Partner with business units to provide financial analysis, P&L support, accounts receivable tracking, and performance insights.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models, operating plans, and financial plans to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial data, KPIs, trends, and variances to improve reporting accuracy and business performance.
- Collaborate with Finance leadership on reporting structures, financial goals, and process improvement initiatives.
- Drive finance modernization through system enhancements, process optimization, and reporting improvements.
- Support market research, capital allocation reviews, ad hoc analyses, and special finance projects.
- Provide recommendations based on financial insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
- Assist in training team members on finance processes, reporting tools, and best practices.
