Drive analysis and deep dives to understand the overall cost base and drivers
Assist in providing senior management with timely, accurate, and relevant information and analysis on the Expense position of the business
Assist in providing analytical insights through understanding of direct expenses and allocations, covering all Consumer business products developing action plans and business ideas where appropriate
Help support digitization effort to improve productivity and standardize reports and processes, including preparation of review decks
Help drive strategic projects involving financial analyses, insights, and strategic planning
Support the Finance Transformation efforts across teams
Coordinate and partner with the budget coordinators to deliver on overall Expense team projects and objectives, which include ad hoc analysis during Strategic / Operating Plan and Forecast
Assist in the coordination and preparation of materials for review of new investment proposals and investment transfers, to ensure that expenditures are tracked and reported in line with budget
Help identify and advice business on opportunities for Expense efficiencies
Help identify emerging trends in key drivers of profitability or raise early warning signals on unprofitable activities with the use of relevant data
Share responsibility with the business units to achieve and sustain P&L targets
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field; CPA preferred
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis
Experience managing projects with strict deadlines and multiple stakeholder coordination
High attention to detail, strong commercial acumen, and solid understanding of the banking/financial services industry
Able to operate effectively in structured, high-volume, timesensitive, and highrisk environments
Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate conflicts
Proactive learner with a positive mindset and commitment to knowledge sharing
Proficient in Microsoft applications, financial modeling, and accounting tools
