About the Role
The FP&A Manager leads the company's budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, providing actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role analyzes financial performance, prepares management reports, and partners with business leaders to drive cost efficiency, optimize resources, and improve profitability. The FP&A Manager also oversees financial models, identifies risks and opportunities, and ensures accuracy and consistency in financial data used across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budget preparation, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and KPIs; prepare clear, data-driven reports for management.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and business cases.
- Partner with department heads to align financial plans with operational and strategic goals.
- Monitor performance versus budget and recommend corrective actions.
- Improve reporting tools, dashboards, and planning processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure financial data integrity and compliance with accounting policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA or MBA is an advantage).
- 57 years of FP&A or corporate finance experience.
- Experience in the retail industry is a plus.
Required Skills
- Strong financial modeling skills and advanced Excel proficiency; knowledge of ERP/BI tools (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, Anaplan) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and present insights to senior leadership.
