Job role: Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

JOB OVERVIEW:
As a Financial Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for driving financial insights that support strategic decisions and operational efficiency. You will analyze financial data, develop forecasts and budgets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of insurance operations, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning specific to insurance brokerage operations.
- Analyze monthly financial performance, including revenue from commissions, policy renewals, and client acquisition costs.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the CFO, highlighting key trends and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with sales, account management and claims departments to align financial planning with operational goals.
- Monitor KPIs such as policy retention rates, cost per acquisition, and profitability.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards and insurance industry standards.
- Support internal audits and assist in preparing documentation for regulatory reviews.
- Performs other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- CPA or CFA certification is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the insurance or financial services sector
- Familiarity with insurance brokerage operations, including commission structures and policy lifecycle
- Good knowledge of Philippine insurance regulations (e.g., IC Circulars, AMLA compliance)
- Experience in cost-benefit analysis
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
