Job Description
The role will bring you unparalleled exposure to the breadth of service offerings provided by the Firm. With the support of a high performing team you will be instrumental in:
- Supporting the Divisional and Business Services Managers in the timely compilation of the monthly financial results and assisting with budgets/forecasts production.
- Delivering and completing financial reporting activities and tasks which includes weekly flash, bonus / general accruals, prepayment, reimbursements, journal posting, balance sheet reconciliations and administration tasks.
- Assisting with reviewing monthly reports, actual, budgets, forecasts and help provide commentary on key variances, business drivers and any actions required
- Execution of simplification projects and implementation of best practice within the Finance function
- Contributing to Ad hoc/Special projects as and when required. This includes calculation of quarterly P&I Learning recharges, Ask Cody catering recharges, annual charge rate maintenance, and adhoc divisional analysis
Qualifications
In order to be considered for this opportunity you will have:
- Finance / Business Degree or professional accountancy qualification and/or intending to study or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, CIMA)
- Accounting experience working in cross functional teams and Commercial environment will be highly advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to recommend solutions, challenge performance and influence improvements required to achieve best practice.
- Excellent computing skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledge of SAP will be highly advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
