The Financial Due Diligence Associate will be responsible for providing support in financial due diligence engagements and assisting the corporate finance team in ensuring high quality service delivery to the clients.
Responsibilities
- Participate in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements
- Analyze the financial operations of the target companies and identify issues that may impact the purchase price or any potential deal breakers
- Perform the typical analyses (e.g. Quality of Earnings, Net Working Capital, etc.).
- Assist in report writing
- Guide associates in conducting the due diligence exercise
- Participate in meetings and conference calls with target and client
- Participate in other ad hoc tasks, as applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
- Preferably with at least 1 -2 years of transaction advisory services or 2-3 years audit experience
- Preferably with experience working from the Big 4 firms
- Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills
- Must be comfortable working with foreign clients
- Attention to detail, strong critical thinking, and leadership skills
- CPAs and other relevant certifications are a plus
