We are looking for a highly experienced Financial Controller to join our growing organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis, senior-level accounting, and enterprise-level financial operations. You will serve as a strategic partner while maintaining strong ownership of core financial processes and reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Oversee senior-level accounting functions, including controller-level responsibilities.
- Manage month-end close processes, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Build and maintain advanced financial models, providing insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Support data extraction, analysis, and reporting using mid-size to large enterprise ERP systems.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance financial visibility, transparency, and operational efficiency.
- Operate autonomously with high-level direction, demonstrating strong ownership and accountability.
- Work within structured environments, providing senior-level financial leadership to mid-size or large organizations.
Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent international professional accounting designation (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
- 10+ years of senior finance and accounting experience, including FP&A and controller-level work.
- Proven expertise in: Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, Month-end close and financial reporting, Internal controls and accounting procedures
- Experience supporting mid-size to large organizations in structured environments.
- High-level ERP proficiency with systems such as: Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle Fusion, SAP or similar enterprise-level platforms
- Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex financial modeling.
- Preferred: Experience supporting companies in North America, Canada, Europe, or other Western markets.
- Demonstrated ability to independently build, maintain, and refine financial models following strategic direction.
- Strong, stable career history with a consistent track record of long-term roles.
- Highly organized, proactive, and ownership-driven professional with the capacity to complement a strong operational doer through strategic financial leadership.
