Finance Controller (Process Builder)

Location: Cubao Metro Manila

We are a fast-growing consumer brand company in the Philippines operating across e-commerce (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop), modern trade, and distributors. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Finance Controller who can help build strong financial processes, improve visibility into how money flows across the business, and strengthen our accounting organization.

This role will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to professionalize finance operations, improve financial transparency, and ensure the business operates with strong financial discipline as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities

Process and Systems Development

Build and improve accounting and finance processes to support a growing organization

Establish structured monthly closing procedures and reporting timelines

Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finance operations

Implement scalable finance systems and workflows

Financial Controls and Governance

Establish clear responsibilities and accountability across the finance team

Implement internal controls and approval workflows

Strengthen financial governance and operational discipline

Financial Visibility and Analysis

Map how money flows across the business from sales to collections to payments

Identify opportunities to improve profitability and reduce inefficiencies

Produce management reports showing profitability by brand, product, and sales channel

Support management decision-making through financial insights

E-commerce Financial Management

Reconcile marketplace settlements from major e-commerce platforms

Track platform commissions, promotions, and returns

Ensure accurate recording of platform-related transactions

Inventory and Cost Control

Strengthen inventory accounting and SKU-level costing

Work with operations and warehouse teams to reconcile inventory records

Monitor inventory health, aging, and cost efficiency

Compliance

Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements with the Bureau of Internal Revenue

Maintain accurate financial records and reporting standards

Team Leadership

Lead and develop the accounting team

Assign clear responsibilities and performance expectations

Improve efficiency and accountability within the finance function

Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

At least 68 years of experience in accounting or finance

Experience in retail, FMCG, or e-commerce businesses preferred

Strong understanding of inventory accounting and financial controls

Experience building finance systems and processes in fast-growing companies

Background from firms such as SGV & Co., Isla Lipana & Co., or similar firms is a plus
