Finance Operations Analyst
Location: Makati, Philippines (2x a week onsite - Hybrid)
Working Hours: Singapore-aligned hours (with flexibility during month-end)

We are looking for a Finance Operations Analyst who will own the day-to-day finance operations across multiple international entities while working closely with senior leadership team.
This role is responsible for managing invoicing, accounts payable, reconciliations, month-end close, and management reporting. You'll have the opportunity to streamline finance processes, improve operational efficiency, and introduce automation using modern AI-powered too
ls.This is a hands-on role offering significant ownership, autonomy, and exposure to global finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily & Weekly
- Prepare customer invoices based on signed Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Process supplier invoices, contractor payments, and employee expense claims.
- Prepare payment runs for approval.
- Reconcile bank accounts and payment platforms across multiple entities in Xero.
- Maintain accurate financial records through proper coding, categorization, and receipt matching.
Monthly
- Support month-end close activities, including: Accruals, Prepayments & Intercompany recharges.
- Prepare payroll inputs and validation through the HR platform.
- Produce monthly management reports, including: Profit & Loss by entity, Cash position, Accounts Receivable aging and Project profitability.
- Review SaaS subscriptions and operating expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Quarterly & Ongoing
- Coordinate with external accountants on GST, VAT, and tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
- Track revenue performance against sales forecasts.
- Continuously improve and document finance processes.
- Identify automation opportunities using Claude AI and other productivity tools.
Qualifications
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in Finance Operations or Accounting.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, technology, or agency environments with project-based invoicing.
- Hands-on experience managing multi-entity and multi-currency accounting across at least two jurisdictions.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, including maintaining multi-entity ledgers.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written English communication skills.
- Experience working with distributed or global teams.
- Willing to work Singapore-aligned hours, with flexibility during month-end to coordinate with teams in Dublin and New York.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools such as Claude and Slack to improve efficiency and automate routine tasks.
Nice to Have
- CPA or currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification.
- Experience using: Airwallex, Stripe, Harvest, orRemote HR Platform
- Experience supporting audits and working with external accounting firms across multiple countries.
- Exposure to Salesforce, particularly from opportunity management through invoicing.

Strong Xero experience is essential. Experience with the other platforms is advantageous but can be learned on the job.
What Success Looks Like
Within 30 Days
- Take full ownership of invoicing, accounts payable, and reconciliations across all entities.
Within 60 Days
- Independently manage the month-end close and prepare the monthly management reporting pack.
Within 90 Days
- Document key finance processes.
- Automate at least two finance workflows using Claude AI.
- Enable the founders to spend significantly less time on operational finance and more on strategic initiatives.
