Job Description

The role provides an excellent opportunity to be a part of a growing and dynamic professional services practice covering corporate finance support services, working with a high performing and talented team that values high quality client service in an environment that is collaborative. Opportunity to be exposed to US private equity deals in different industries. Services under the corporate finance team include financial modeling, valuation, financial planning and analysis, business plan formation, pitch deck presentation.

The Financial Analyst works closely with the Senior Financial Analyst and with the assigned clients. He/she is expected to aid in the preparation of budget and forecast projection, identify trends and compute variances between forecast and actuals, and prepare excel dashboards and various reports. It is also expected for the Financial Analyst to have/gain knowledge on the relevant local and global standards like US GAAP and IFRS.

As part of the company and the team, it is expected for the Financial Analyst to give a helping hand with the other clients activities especially when free to the extent of his/her capacity and skills which is a manifestation of Empathy - one the company's core values.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analyst level, subject to evaluation within the 6 months probationary period
  • Handle projects from start to close - direct communication w/ client, build work product from scratch
  • Types of projects: annual operating budget, financial model, rolling forecast, investor pitch deck, KPI dashboards, and FP&A support.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to effectively work in a team and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing problems and coming up with solutions.
  • Deep understanding of finance, accounting, and financial analysis, and be proficient in using financial software and tools
  • Manage client's expectations and relationships
  • Must be flexible to accommodate tight deadline in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Promotes Scrubbed values and culture
  • Encourage adherence to Scrubbed policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, and budgets
  • Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Thrives in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Self-starter, comfortable with a high-pressure environment.
