Scale Suite is a Sydney-based company on a mission to build the full-stack finance function for growing Australian businesses: daily finance operations, reporting and analysis, and CFO-level strategy, delivered as one embedded team. Finance is the core, and we mould around each client, with complementary HR services and the operational tasks that sit alongside finance. We are not an accounting practice and we are not a BPO. Every team member gets a Claude Pro subscription, AI is in daily use, deeper automation is around the corner, and an engineering team is coming on board in the near future to build it. Our Philippines team is central to everything we deliver, and it is growing fast.

The role

You join the delivery engine of our team, executing the work our clients rely on every week and learning fast under structured senior review. It is a launch pad: Finance Analysts here grow into senior seats as we scale.

The work

• Carry out bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and month-end entries for Australian clients, spotting patterns and flagging areas to improve.
• Process payroll accurately, meeting Australian taxation, superannuation and statutory obligations.
• Support receivables, payables and BAS preparation, building exposure to financial models and cash flow work.
• Help build scalable finance processes, using technology and AI to remove manual work.
• Work with Australian clients directly as you grow, with structured senior review so you learn quickly and to a high standard.

Who we're after

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field with Honours from a Top 4 Philippine university.
• CPA, or actively pursuing your CPA.
• At least 1 year of hands-on bookkeeping, accounting or payroll experience.
• Eagerness to master Xero and Australian financial systems. Prior Australian or Xero experience is not required; we will train you.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets, open to developing forecasting and variance analysis skills.
• Strong written and spoken English, comfortable in a lean team and clear when explaining detail.
• A growth mindset and real initiative. You use AI as a matter of course.

Direct employment, not an agency

You will be employed directly by our own Philippine entity. Not an agency passthrough, not a contractor arrangement, not an EOR like most companies hiring from the Philippines.
