Job Description

About the Role

Finance Analyst Manager primarily focus on managing company's annual budget, forecasts, financial projections and business performance reports and analysis. Will focus on Management Reports and will handle segment budget and reports and territory analysis. This position working closely with respective departments to evaluate and provide guidance to attain overall corporate goals.

Responsibilities

  • Budget Management and Planning: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts; coordinate budget adjustments and monitor implementation progress. Build and continuously improve the project team's budget management mechanism.
  • Financial Analysis and Business Decision Support: Conduct cost-benefit and feasibility studies for major initiatives or pricing projects. Support resource allocation and develop efficiency improvement measures.
  • Financial Monitoring and Management Advisory: Track and analyze actual revenues and expenses against the approved budget. Provide professional financial advice and policy guidance to business units.
  • Compliance and Expenditure Control: Review and ensure proper authorization for all CAPEX and OPEX items. Maintain internal control discipline and compliance with company policies.
  • Other Duties: Perform other financial management tasks as assigned by Finance leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Financial Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field; holding a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or equivalent intermediate financial professional title is an advantage.
  • At least 58 years of experience in budget planning, financial analysis, and cost-benefit analysis; experience in the telecommunications industry is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis, with knowledge of Philippine accounting principles and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls, internal processes, and compliance frameworks; able to ensure sound financial governance and cost management.
  • Highly strategic, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; able to prepare and present reports effectively to senior management.

Others:

  • This position is based in BGC, Metro Manila, Philippines, and requires regular on-site work during standard working days.
  • The employment contract will be signed with FutureNet and Technology Corp, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Telecom in the Philippines.
