Job Description

The Opportunity:

Join a global finance team where you will help protect the integrity of the employee expense program through risk analysis, auditing, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement. In this role, you'll use data and technology to identify trends, investigate anomalies, strengthen controls, and reduce financial risk. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, HR, Internal Audit, and business teams to drive policy adherence and improve processes. The Role:

  • Analyzing expense data to identify risk patterns, trends, compliance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Investigating exceptions, anomalies, and potential fraud indicators across large employee expense populations.
  • Performing targeted audits and risk-based reviews to assess adherence to policies, controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of internal controls and recommending corrective actions to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
  • Interpreting system outputs, exception reports, and audit results to enhance monitoring activities and optimize control effectiveness.
  • Partnering with stakeholders across Finance, HR, and business teams to influence behavior and drive policy adoption.
  • Preparing meaningful compliance, risk, and management reporting that supports informed decision-making and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with experience in expense auditing, compliance, financial analysis, risk management, or internal controls.
  • Hands-on experience using SAP Concur for expense management, including audit rules, exception reporting, policy enforcement, approval workflows, and compliance monitoring.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with the ability to identify anomalies, assess risk, detect fraud indicators, and recommend solutions.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks, audit methodologies, internal controls, and financial risk management practices.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, interpret system-generated insights, and use data to strengthen controls, tune audit parameters, and improve compliance outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions, drive policy adoption, and promote compliant behaviors across the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
