Primary Objective Of Position
The Financial Analyst has the primary responsibility to understand the operations of his/her respective entity; collect, analyze and interpret financial data; instigate budget preparing and conduct budget monitoring; prepare financial reports and give recommendations to the management team to improve the entity's financial performance.
Essential Functions
Financial Data Management
- Coordinates with Accounting Department in collecting financial data
- Ensures the accuracy of collected financial data
- Increases productivity be developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirements
- Reconciles transactions by comparing and correcting data
- Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
- Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational data
- Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Identifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions
- Improves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management
- Recommends actions by analyzing results and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials
Corporate Planning and Finance
- In-charge of the creation and maintenance of the Financial model
- Prepare presentation of any capital raising activity
- Conducts and review valuation of assets and companies
REQUIREMENT
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
- At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- CPA/CFA Level 1 passer is a plus
- Willing to be based in Makati City
- Can start as soon as possible
