YOUR ROLE
The Financial Analyst for CL is responsible for providing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support warehouse operations and contract logistics activities. This role ensures cost efficiency, compliance, and data-driven decision-making to optimize warehouse performance, cost and profitability.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO
1. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Analyse, verify, and dispute financial data and invoices related to warehouse and logistics operations.
- Track, measure, and report on all aspects of cost management, including direct operational cost such as warehouse rental, labour, mhe, materials, and indirect costs.
- Prepare cost analyses for warehouse operations and logistics costs to support management decisions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures related to warehouse cost management.
- Support monthly forecasting, and P&L analysis during MBR.
- Support annual budget planning, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams.
2. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses, and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and internal/external reviews.
- Monitor and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring data integrity and timely resolution of discrepancies.
3. Operational Support
- Collaborate with warehouse managers, inventory analysts, and contract managers to analyze operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide financial insights to support process optimization, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance warehouse efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Support the implementation and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) and financial software for data analysis and reporting.
4. Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Identify financial risks and recommend strategies to mitigate cost overruns and inefficiencies.
- Conduct benchmarking and comparative analysis to ensure best practices in contract logistics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial reporting and operational processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in logistics finance.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Logistics, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain environments.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), SAP, or similar ERP platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal qualities associated with a good human and interpersonal relations.

- Can work harmoniously and communicate with interface department through writing and speaking.
