1.Role Purpose and Overview
The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance team and will be responsible for delivering critical business insights through in-depth financial investigations, data analysis, and strategic recommendations. This position involves gathering quantitative and qualitative information, developing solutions, and presenting findings to support robust commercial and operational decision-making. The role offers high visibility across finance, commercial, and operational functions, providing an opportunity to influence key business outcomes.
2.Key Deliverables, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Analyse financial results, operational and commercial data/agreements to drive sound business decisions
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
- Monitor economic trends, financial markets, and industry developments to assess potential impacts on the business
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, offering actionable insights to leadership teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
3.Experience and Qualifications Required
- Qualified Accountant (CPA, CIMA or similar) with a business qualification
- 10+ years of post-qualified experience in financial analysis or related field
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite
- Previous experience in the manufacturing and distribution business is preferred
- Proven track record in financial modelling, commercial analysis, and delivering actionable insights
