Job Description

Role Title: Financial Analyst

Department: Finance

Location: Remote

Reporting to (Position Title): Head of Business Intelligence

1.Role Purpose and Overview

The Financial Analyst is a key member of the Finance team and will be responsible for delivering critical business insights through in-depth financial investigations, data analysis, and strategic recommendations. This position involves gathering quantitative and qualitative information, developing solutions, and presenting findings to support robust commercial and operational decision-making. The role offers high visibility across finance, commercial, and operational functions, providing an opportunity to influence key business outcomes.

2.Key Deliverables, Duties, and Responsibilities

  • Analyse financial results, operational and commercial data/agreements to drive sound business decisions
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis
  • Monitor economic trends, financial markets, and industry developments to assess potential impacts on the business
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, offering actionable insights to leadership teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required

3.Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Qualified Accountant (CPA, CIMA or similar) with a business qualification
  • 10+ years of post-qualified experience in financial analysis or related field
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing and distribution business is preferred
  • Proven track record in financial modelling, commercial analysis, and delivering actionable insights

  • Exceptional Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Strong interpersonal and communication skills (fluent in English), with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders

  • Leadership & Initiative A proactive self-starter with leadership qualities, a team-player attitude, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Business Partnership Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop a deep understanding of various areas of business and act as a strategic partner to support commercial and operational goals
