What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the Financial Controller.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, providing actionable insights.
- Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
- Assist with statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance.
- Provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders, including cost center reporting.
- Contribute to the finance system and process improvements.
Key Criteria
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros, for reporting, analysis, and financial modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems; Pronto preferred but candidates from other ERPs considered.
- Hands-on involvement in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (AASB/IFRS).
- Ability to identify process improvements and optimize reporting workflows.
- CPA/CA qualified or studying; experience in Australian companies is advantageous.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving financial systems.
Work setup
- Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian business hours (6:00 AM3:00 PM PHT); full-time onsite during probation, with hybrid arrangements to be discussed after probation.
