What You'll Do

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the Financial Controller.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital, providing actionable insights.
  • Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Assist with statutory reporting, audits, and tax compliance.
  • Provide financial guidance to internal stakeholders, including cost center reporting.
  • Contribute to the finance system and process improvements.

Key Criteria

  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, for reporting, analysis, and financial modelling.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Pronto preferred but candidates from other ERPs considered.
  • Hands-on involvement in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (AASB/IFRS).
  • Ability to identify process improvements and optimize reporting workflows.
  • CPA/CA qualified or studying; experience in Australian companies is advantageous.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving financial systems.

Work setup

  • Manila (BGC, Taguig): Australian business hours (6:00 AM3:00 PM PHT); full-time onsite during probation, with hybrid arrangements to be discussed after probation.
