What You'll Do
- Drive financial reporting excellence by preparing and maintaining accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Keep performance on track by monitoring budgets and forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing actionable insights.
- Lead payroll operationsincluding adviser remuneration, superannuation, and statutory obligationswith precision and compliance.
- Take ownership of cash flow management across multiple entities, ensuring healthy liquidity through weekly group-level cash balances and forecasts.
- Safeguard financial stability by monitoring bank balances, forecasting short-term cash needs, and guaranteeing funds for payroll and operations.
- Be the go-to expert for audits, managing timelines, preparing workpapers, and liaising with external auditors to ensure smooth annual audits.
- Champion compliance with ASIC, ATO, superannuation, and other regulatory requirements.
- Empower decision-making by delivering clear, accurate financial analysis and insights to management.
Key Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Proven expertise in financial accounting, payroll, and regulatory compliance
- CPA or CA designation highly regarded
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems (MYOB and Commpay experience is a plus)
- Confident in managing audits and building strong relationships with external stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail paired with a proactive, problem-solving approach
